Hospitable shelters in Chania, climbed as nests of birds on the mountain tops, wait for climbers and tourists. Suggested climbing routes:
1. Kalathas, climbing deck near the sea of Akrotiri, about 30 routes with protection top rope, difficulty level ΙV-VII.
2. Stavros, Akrotiri, 6 routes with protection only in relay, difficulty level V-VII.
3. Gigilos, above Samaria, 15 routes, difficulty level V-VII.
4. Therisso, above Theriso gorge, difficulty level V-VIII.
